As a college student at UC San Diego, MultimediaMomma founder Nicole Vargas started experimenting with digital media — a little video production there, a little web design there. Upon graduation, her career in print journalism took her down a path that seemed to head far from that interest. But that soon changed, as Nicole began integrating her digital media expertise into her print media efforts.

In the summer of 2009, Nicole first decided to branch out beyond journalism and offer her expertise to individuals, small businesses and non-profits that could benefit from the support and guidance of a digital media consultant, but lacked the big budget to cover the cost. MultimediaMomma was born, and officially opened for business in January 2010.

The idea behind MultimediaMomma is to assist clients in establishing and enhancing their web presence. To achieve that, education and empowerment would be the name of the game. The best of the web would be put in the hands of clients eager to build a brand online. And MultimediaMomma, and the community that comes along with it, would be there to help along the way.

We invite you to get to know MultimediaMomma — the blog, the services, the support. Be a part of its community. Vent on the obstacles standing in your way on Facebook or Twitter. Share your successes.

Together, we hope MultimediaMomma can help you and your organization achieve its goals on the web.

Warmly,

Nicole Vargas
